1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile information provided by Google.
Business information. Information you provide about your businesses, including descriptions, URLs, business plans, and any content you submit through the onboarding process or Platform tools.
Generated content. Content created by the Platform on your behalf, including landing pages, emails, social media posts, research reports, and business strategies.
Usage data. Log data, device information, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interactions with the Platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Platform and its autonomous services.
- Perform autonomous operations on your behalf (research, content generation, marketing, outreach).
- Send transactional communications related to your account and businesses.
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the Platform's performance and capabilities.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. AI Processing
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to process your information and perform autonomous business operations. This includes sending your business descriptions and related data to third-party AI providers for analysis, content generation, and decision-making. AI-generated outputs are stored in our systems and associated with your account. We do not use your business data to train general-purpose AI models.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers — third-party AI providers, email services, hosting providers, and analytics tools that help us operate the Platform.
- On your behalf — when the Platform sends emails, publishes content, or interacts with external services as part of autonomous business operations you have authorized.
- Legal requirements — when required by law, subpoena, or government request, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Marketplace transfers — when a business is sold through the Org1 marketplace, all associated data (including prospect lists, outreach history, email threads, analytics, and generated content) is transferred to the purchasing party. The buyer assumes data controller responsibilities for this data under applicable privacy regulations. Prospect data originally collected under your account's privacy terms remains subject to those original collection terms.
5. Marketplace Data Processing
When a business is listed on or sold through the Org1 marketplace:
- Aggregated business statistics (content counts, lead pipeline metrics, activity history) may be displayed publicly on marketplace listing pages.
- No personally identifiable prospect data is displayed publicly. Individual prospect records, emails, and phone numbers are only accessible to the business owner.
- Upon ownership transfer, the new owner gains access to all business data, including prospect records collected by the previous owner.
- If you are a prospect who received outreach from a business on Org1, the business and its associated data (including your contact information) may be transferred to a new owner. You may opt out of future communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Business content generated by the Platform is retained until you delete it or your account is terminated. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes after account deletion.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Object to or restrict processing of your data.
- Request portability of your data.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing.
- Opt out of autonomous operations at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@org1.ai.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
9. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
